Featured Projects
Yerkes Observatory - University of Chicago
Tgar Group oversaw exterior repairs to the historic architecture at the Yerkes Observatory for the University of Chicago in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. This was a multi-year project with a $4 million budget to correct water infiltration issues at the masonry parapet and monumental entrance canopy, replace sealant failures, correct terra cotta and limestone cracking failures, and replace historical windows.

Modine Modine Manufactring Co., Inc. Corporate Headquarters Upgrades
Full architectural services and construction administration to fully restore and upgrade exterior façade of corporate headquarters. Project completed in November of 2005. Work included upgrades to give “a new corporate identity” for existing facilities located in Racine WI. This project won an award for green initiatives from “Sustainable Racine” for cutting down on heat gain and heat loss and reducing greenhouse gases by over 35% at the existing executive wing of facilities.

University of Wisconsin Parkside Heating & Chiller Plant
University of Wisconsin Parkside Heating & Chiller Plant exterior glazing upgrade, 80K Budget, Full investigative services, analysis of failed exterior glazing system and proper specification of rehabilitation to completely re-model enclosure system for State of Wisconsin Division of Facilities Development. Work was performed as portion of larger project that corrected exterior enclosure issues on all major buildings on the UW- Parkside Campus. Work was completed in fall of 2008.
